Our Amaro Castelgreve comes from a careful infusion of botanicals, most of them found in our characteristic landscape of Chianti.
In taste, it shows intense bitter notes of gentian, rhubarb, and absinthe. Elegant with lingering citrus notes. Complex with a finish of persistent bitter notes, pleasant and full on the palate.
With this wine, we seek to maintain the ties with Tuscan tradition, hence the typical natural straw flask in its 500ml version. Intense ruby red colour, this Chianti Classico is made with Sangiovese grapes and displays elegant aromas with notes of violet and hints of ripe fruit. Full, harmonious flavour with soft, velvety tannin and a persisent finish.
Gin Castelgreve comes from a combination of traditional gin botanicals and tuscan botanicals carefully selected, growing since centuries in the amazing Chianti region.
In the mouth you can easily feel the fine resinous note of tuscan juniper, followed by a marked citrus note given by the traditional florentine lemon “Femminello” and sweet orange peel.
The bouquet is spicy, caressed by balck pepper and elegant mediterranean nuances of thyme and sage.

The flavour displays perfect harmony with significant sweet tannins that give it a velvety flavour with considerable fullness of body.
